Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MedTUS ("MedTUS", "we", "us", or "our"), an online educational platform for STS / TUS medical exam preparation available at medtus.net and app.medtus.net (the "Service"). By creating an account, starting a free trial, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What MedTUS is — and is not
MedTUS is an educational and exam-preparation platform. Our lessons, question banks, flashcards, tools, and AI features are provided for study and revision purposes only.
- MedTUS does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and must never be used to make clinical decisions or to treat any person.
- MedTUS does not guarantee any exam result, score, placement, or professional outcome. Success depends on many factors outside our control.
- Content is provided for general educational use and may contain errors or become out of date; always verify against official sources and current guidelines.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your password secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
3. Free trial
We may offer a one-time free trial (for example, Gold-tier access for 3 study days within 30 days) to eligible new users. The trial is available once per user, provides temporary access to certain paid features, and involves no charge. When the trial period ends, paid access stops unless you purchase a subscription. We may modify or withdraw trial offers at any time.
4. Subscriptions, billing and auto-renewal
Paid plans are offered as recurring subscriptions billed in advance for the chosen period (for example, monthly, 3-monthly, or annual). Prices are shown at checkout; the amount you pay may be converted to your local currency and may include applicable taxes (e.g., VAT).
- Payment processor / Merchant of Record. Card payments are handled by our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"). Paddle handles the checkout, billing, invoicing, taxes, and order-related enquiries. Your payment is a transaction with Paddle as merchant of record. We also accept certain crypto-asset payments (MedCoin / USDT) directly.
- Auto-renewal. Card subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until you cancel.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the current paid period, after which it will not renew. See our Refund Policy for refunds.
- We do not store your full card details. Card data is processed securely by Paddle.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: share, resell, or provide account access to others; copy, scrape, redistribute, or publicly post our content; attempt to bypass paywalls, access controls, or security; use automated means to extract content; upload unlawful or infringing material; or use the Service in any way that harms MedTUS, other users, or third parties.
6. Intellectual property
The Service and its content (excluding third-party and user content) are owned by MedTUS or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access the content for your own study while your account is active. All other rights are reserved.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is complete or current.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedTUS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, opportunities, or exam outcomes, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (or via Paddle for MedTUS) in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Türkiye shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
12. Contact
